Betting and Settlements

Placing a Bet

The product offers two different methods of betting:

Singles and Multiples.

How to Place a Single Bet:

Placing a single bet is very simple. Firstly, you must ensure that you are logged in to the website

Then, simply Click on the odds that you wish to place a stake on and you will see the odds become highlighted. You will see that the selection will be added to your bet slip on the right hand side of the screen.

Simply put a monetary amount in the stake box on the bet slip and press ‘Place Bet’ to place your bet.

However – there are certain situations where your bet may not be placed:

  • You have insufficient funds in your account.
  • You have staked more than the designated limit.
  • Your return may be higher than the limit for this particular type of bet.

In these cases, you’ll be informed with an error message .

How to Place a Multiple Bet:

Simply select a number of bets that you would like to place as a multiple and they will appear on the bet slip, with the option to bet them as singles or multiples.

In the case shown in the picture below, the user can stake money on combinations for 4 x singles, 6 x doubles, 4 x triples , 1 x four-fold bet or all of them (This means that they can bet on every combination of these events in different amounts).

Enter a stake as shown in the desired multiple type and press ‘Place Bet’.

Please note that not every bet or market can be mixed to create a multiple, as some options can potentially contradict others, and some might be seen as ‘Related Contingencies’  .

NOTE: Also, nine selections is the maximum number allowed to be on the bet slip at one time.

Settlement of Bets

This page describes the process of "settling of bets" and how this works.

Settling is the process of working out if bets placed have won or lost.

What happens when an event completes?

When we receive notification that an event has ended or reached a particular point, a short time after we will receive notifications of results for each bet type.

When this happens, our systems will look through each of the bets placed, and use these notifications to determine whether each bet line or part of an overall bet was:

Won

Lost

Drawn or Tied

Half Win

Half Lose

Void (under certain circumstances, for example if an event was abandoned)

The system will look at each part of a bet and work out if it’s won or lost, or another outcome as noted above.

The system will then check to see if all parts of a bet are completed, and if so it will then calculate any winning amount and credit that to your account.

The system then finally updates the status of your bet to let you know what the overall outcome was.

You will see the status of your bets update in the "My Bets" section of the website when this happens.

Please Note that a bet is not generally settled until all bet lines within the bet are notified as completed by our system. It will not "part pay out" a bet until every condition is satisfied.

There are occasions when a bet is marked as "void" - for example if an event has to be abandoned without it being resolved. In this case, our system will either:

If it was a single bet, then the system will refund your stake to your account.

If the bet has more lines, then the stake will be refunded and the remainder of the bet will be computed as normal.

In the case of a multiple bet, the void market will be taken out of the slip and the odds will be adjusted to reflect the odds for the bets that are left on the slip.
